As a freelance producer and innovation consultant, Jason advises industry leading clients and institutions in creative & technology synergies, project development & implementation, future trends & disruption management, and ideation facilitation & development.
A 24 year veteran producer of the Walt Disney Company, Jason’s career took him from the rivers of the Jungle Cruise, through 13 Disney Animated films, to implementing secret new Academy Award winning technologies at Disney Research & Development.
Through “Pocahontas”, “Tarzan”, “Bolt”, “Princess and the Frog”, “Tangled” and many other films, Jason produced and pushed the envelope of computer graphics innovation at the Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Jason was then invited to the cutting edge forefront of computer vision, A.I., VR/AR, and robotics at Disney Research – the company’s scientific arm for new innovation. Jason enhanced attractions at Hong Kong & Shanghai Disneyland and implemented new technologies on a number of films including “Disney’s The Jungle Book,” Marvel’s “Thor: Ragnarok” and Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: Rouge One.”
Jason lives in the L.A. Metro area in Long Beach, California with his husband Noel and daughter Kathryn. His family is currently hosting their eighth high school exchange student from France. Past students have come from Norway, Italy, New Zealand, Sweden, Germany, Spain and Denmark.
