Meet Our Keynote Speaker
From warrior brain to artist brain - how using art and music curriculum is saving lives.
Richard Casper will share how he had to Adapt after getting injured in Iraq. His humvee was struck four separate times by I.E.D.s which led to a traumatic brain injury. During his journey to heal, he discovered art and music and It changed his life so he had to evolve. He learned to transition his warrior brain to his artist brain. When he knew what he had just experienced needed to be shared with other veterans around the country he had to improvise. He went from an art student/bouncer to an Executive Director and co-founder of a non-profit that empowers wounded veterans to heal through art and music.
