The Rutgers Online Learning Conference is presented by University Online Education Services (UOES). Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, UOES was established in July 2024 to advance online education at Rutgers. UOES empowers academic excellence in online education by providing comprehensive, university-wide support services tailored to the needs of individual academic units. Through close collaboration with local support teams, UOES enhances the quality, reach, and impact of Rutgers' online programs while maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence and student success.

Dr. Michelle Miller is a cognitive psychologist, researcher, and author focused on supporting higher education faculty in creating effective and engaging learning experiences for students. She is the author of Minds Online: Teaching Effectively with Technology (Harvard University Press, 2014), Remembering and Forgetting in the Age of Technology: Teaching, Learning, and the Science of Memory in a Wired World (West Virginia University Press, 2022), and a new book coming out in November 2024, A Teacher’s Guide to Learning Student Names: Why You Should, Why It’s Hard, How You Can (University of Oklahoma Press).
