Keynote Presentation with Michelle Pacansky-Brock: The Human Advantage - Online Teaching & Learning in the AI Era
As human beings, our brains are wired for connection with others. This human principle applies to everyone, all the time -- including online classes. In this presentation, we will consider the research about learning science and diversity, and examine how to cultivate care and connection at a distance, while maintaining high standards at the same time. We will also explore how being real, authentic, and imperfect are even more valuable now in the AI era.
