The Basics of Lecture Capture: Best practices for creating high quality video lectures

The objective of this presentation is to offer an overall understanding of the demands and processes of common educational media production, like Lecture Captures, aiming to help educators and instructional support staff interested in (or tasked with) producing video or media content become better prepared and more aware of the resources, practices, and tools available. Focusing on simple lecture captures we will discuss the practical application and technical processes of creating and integrating video content for your online or hybrid course

Speaker Bio(s): 

Josh Gould is a Senior Instructional Designer at the Center for Online and Hybrid Learning and Instructional Technologies (COHLIT) at Rutgers University, specializing in creating engaging Educational Media. Josh has several years of media creation experience and has previously served as creative director for private media firms in Manhattan, bringing advanced skills in cinematography, post production, motion graphics, and animation to the department. Josh heads media-related training offerings, alongside data management and equipment purchasing consultations.
