Why present at #RUOnlineCon?

We invite you to share your expertise and expand your credentials by presenting at the virtual 2023 Rutgers Online Learning Conference. Join 30+ breakout session presenters and panelists from private and public institutions, as we form a community that inspires reflection and sparks transformation. 

The deadline to submit a proposal has been EXTENDED! New deadline is January 23, 2023. Presenting at our conference offers you the opportunity to: 

  • Share your experience and insights with institutional peers and colleagues 
  • Exchange ideas to find more effective ways to teach and assess learning online  
  • Grow your network of practitioners and experts

What should I consider before submitting a proposal?

NOTE: Lead Presenter will need to compile and enter this information for any co-presenters

  • Photo .jpg or .png (minimum 500x500px and 2 MB limit) 

Presentation Title (maximum 60 characters, including spaces)
This is the headline text that will be printed in the program schedule and on the conference website. Please clearly and concisely communicate your presentation topic to catch the interest and attention of your target audience.

Session Objectives (maximum 50 words)
List 1 to 3 learning objectives that your presentation will address. Objectives should describe what the audience will know or be able to do or improve after attending your session.

Session Brief Description (maximum 140 characters, including spaces)
Provide an overview of your session, which will be displayed on the main agenda of the virtual conference platform for attendees to review “at a glance” when selecting their schedule for the event.

Session Full Description (maximum 500 words)
Outline your session’s main points. Clearly state the problem, issue, and/or practice that your presentation will address and explain its relevance to attendees. For live session proposals, please include in your description the ways you will engage your synchronous online audience (Chat, Q/A, Polling, Collaborative Activities, etc.).

The first step is creating an account (link is on the bottom). Once your account has been verified via email, you may login and complete the proposal form. Having an account allows you to save drafts of your proposal and return to complete it later. 
Note: The lead presenter must complete your profile in the proposal if you are co-presenter.
